The Flagship Pursuit OS 445 Offshore Boat

Written by Pursuit Boats | Aug 15, 2022 3:53:00 PM

Here at Pursuit Boats, we’re constantly pushing the boundaries in boatbuilding and boat design. In our ongoing quest to deliver the ultimate in uncompromised boating perfection, we are proud and excited to reveal a new model that is simultaneously our biggest boat and our new flagship: The OS 445.

The Offshore 445 represents the apex of all of our years of engineering and design experience, combined with loads of feedback from passionate customers just like you. Read on to find out why the Pursuit OS 445 should be on your shortlist for your next boat.

It’s the perfect all-rounder

Like all Pursuit Boats, the OS 445 perfectly caters to you and your whole family, no matter how you prefer to spend your time on the water. Whether you’re fishing, entertaining, cruising or overnighting, the Pursuit OS 445 does it all equally well.

Fit for fishing

Like all of our boats, fishing enthusiasts are especially well catered for on the OS 445. When it’s time to get casting, the OS 445’s transom seat folds away into its weather-protected enclosure to even further open up the already massive cockpit for fighting that big catch in total comfort.

A recirculating, lighted fifty-gallon livewell featuring Oceana Blue finish and a clear lid, ensures that your bait is properly cared for, alive and fresh, ready as soon as you’re ready to start fishing.

The Pursuit OS 445’s tackle storage ensures that all of your gear is safely stored and within reach so that you don’t have to spend your valuable fishing time looking for your gear. Both the transom and the port side coaming contain ample storage for your lures, tackle and all of your other fishing equipment.

Once you’ve hauled the catch onboard, a 75-gallon coil-wrapped fish box in the transom is standard and ensures that your fish - or your drinks - are kept cool or even frozen, depending on your chosen setting on the day. There’s an additional pair of 82-gallon in-floor fish boxes, one each on port and starboard, both with diaphragm pumps - enough room for even the biggest catches.

Fresh and raw water outlets are conveniently located in the cockpit for a quick rinse of the deck.

For the hardcore sports fishermen, premium 20-foot telescoping outriggers, as well as hardtop rod holders, are available as options.

Superyacht amenities and luxury

Pursuit Boats are famous for their superyacht-quality finishes and amenities, and the OS 445 doesn’t disappoint in this arena.

The luxury begins in the bow, with the OS 445’s exclusive cabana area which provides some of the best seats anywhere onboard. A forward-facing seating area looks over the water while its integrated armrests and cup holders ensure maximum comfort. Just aft of that space is a large sun pad with adjustable backrests to create two chaise lounge seats. Nearby grab rails ensure that you feel safe and secure at all times. And you can opt for a Mediterranean-style shade for even more comfort.

Moving further aft you’ll find the star of the show: Our class-leading bridge deck. This is one of the most impressive spaces we’ve ever designed and it’s loaded with the kinds of luxury, convenience and functionality that Pursuit Boats are known for.

An L-shaped lounge provides plenty of our famous seating space, with loads of storage integrated below it. A table on the bridge makes for easy entertaining and relaxation, and when not in use, can be easily removed for extra space. If additional sleeping space is required, an optional hi-lo table allows you to convert the lounge seating into a comfortable berth.

As you’d expect, the OS 445’s bridge boasts its own galley to starboard which includes a sink, cutting board, and glass induction cooktop surrounded by a beautiful and durable Corian countertop. No galley would be complete without a microwave as well as a drawer-style fridge/freezer. Conveniently, the DC panel and battery switching is also located in the galley space near the entryway door.

If the views over the water aren’t enough, flip a switch and a large ceiling-mounted TV folds down for your - or the kids’ - entertainment!

At the entrance to the cockpit, the bridge deck boasts an awning window and a door that allows for plenty of fresh air to flow through the bridge, while also creating a lovely social area between the two spaces. Should the weather not be playing its part, simply close it all up and enjoy the OS 445’s fully-enclosed bridge.

Take full command with an advanced helm

At the helm, you’ll be seated on an electrically operated Stidd helm seat with custom upholstery. A built-in footrest falls easily to the foot for extra comfort while seated or for added height while standing.

A full suite of Garmin electronics is standard and includes twin 22” screens with full Yamaha Helm Master EX Full-Manoeuvrability. We’re especially excited to reveal that the OS 445 includes a Seakeeper 6 Gyro Stabilizer as standard equipment, to make every hour on the water as smooth as possible, no matter the conditions. We collaborated with Seakeeper to integrate the Seakeeper 6 into the OS 445’s design both structurally and mechanically right from the outset to ensure the best results from the unit. It comes with Seakeeper’s highest-level four-year Gold warranty and support directly from Seakeeper.

Stay overnight in total comfort

Below deck, the Pursuit OS 445’s cabin is designed to provide the perfect night’s sleep no matter where you drop anchor.

Bespoke wooden steps lead from the bridge deck into the well-appointed primary stateroom cabin with its queen size island berth stealing the center of attention. On either side, custom nightstands with solid surface tops featuring integrated outlets and charging ports ensure that your devices recharge while you do. Ample storage is located beneath the mattress and there’s standing headroom in front of the berth, too, for maximum comfort and practicality. The cabin TV even includes a soundbar for the perfect end to your day.

Your guests are well taken care of with a large stateroom to starboard. Here you’ll find a settee that doubles as a berth, while a nearby hanging locker is available to store all of their belongings. We paid careful attention to the design of this area to give your guests an unexpected amount of standing headroom and space for dressing etc. The cabin also includes a TV as standard.

To port, the luxurious head features two entry doors, guaranteeing private access from the primary stateroom when required. You’ll feel right at home thanks to the separate shower compartment with its acrylic door, flanked by a Corian countertop featuring a sink and ample storage with a vanity mirror.

Get there and back reliably

The Pursuit OS 445 is powered by a standard set of triple Yamaha XTO 425s, giving it a comfortable cruising speed of 30 MPH along with the ability to blast over the horizon at a top speed of 49.2 MPH.

Yamaha creates some of the world’s best and most reliable outboard motors, and with this power package behind you, you can be sure that you’ll get to the fish with enough time to spare and get back home safely and reliably. That’s the reason that Pursuit Boats has chosen Yamaha Outboards as our preferred partner for the OS 445 as well as all of our new builds; it’s a relationship that has been in place for many years now and one we hope will continue for many more to come.
